January and February,2017 gets off to a good start

Well 2017 seems to be off with a running start! So far foodkitchen.com.au has had 3 classes and it’s only early Feb!

We have had French Rendezvous where students learnt about paté with a port wine  jelly and pastry skills learning to make a quiche lorraine. The Go Slow class was all about starting the year off well, rested and with a positive look at slowing down your life just a little. The food refelected that with pissaladière being on the menu, learning yeast and dough skills as well as slow braised gremolata lamb shanks. The latest Feb class was La Dolce Vita, the sweet life! One of my favourite cuisines,Italian for sure! I love the food, the culture, the people and their way of life! Dishes included an antipasto starter, risotto funghi and ending in pannacotta with red wine prunes- la dolce vita indeed!

Well where do we go from here? Foodkitchen.com.au has a big year shaping up and we have brought on Bronwen Warden,a former food editor for Gourmet Traveller who will be running some classes this year- a big welcome to a fab and seriously talented foodie!

New classes just posted include Spice it Up! on the 29th April,2017 and An Autumnal Affair on the 13th May,2017.Get in early as classes sell fast!
